About our school
Lincoln Center Elementary serves students from preschool through 5th grade. We work hard to give all of our students the very best in elementary education. We are proud to be an authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP) IB World School. As an IB World School, our staff is involved in an intense reform effort that builds toward continual improvement of our school. As part of this continuous improvement, we will be evaluated by the International Baccalaureate Organization using worldwide educational standards. The content our students learn is aligned with standards of the State of Minnesota, yet with PYP it goes much farther and deeper than those standards.

Hispanic Heritage Month is to celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. At South St. Paul Public Schools our students are celebrating the ways Hispanic Americans have impacted our country.
Minnesota has two tax relief programs for families with children in kindergarten through 12th grade: the K-12 Education Subtraction, and the K-12 Education Credit. Both programs help lower taxes and may provide a larger refund.
Whether a student is in grade school or their senior year of high school, good mental health is just as important as general health for academic success. Read more about how SSPPS Licensed School Counselors help students maintain good mental health.
The South St. Paul Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SSAC) is a unique opportunity for Superintendent Zambreno to engage in meaningful dialogue with a diverse team of student voices from each of our schools.
